Argint International Clinical Research and Development Services is a regional CRO based in Central Eastern Europe with registered offices in Hungary, Romania and Serbia. Argint International combines flexibility, personal service and local expertise with the knowledge of what is required to effectively manage global clinical trials. Prior to founding Argint International the directors, Agnes Pinnel and Steve Dobbin, had long and successful international careers in clinical research.
Argint International was established in July 2006 recognising the desire of clients for a reliable, quality focused CRO in Central Eastern Europe. A CRO that combined the advantages of a regional CRO – cost effectiveness, local knowledge, personal service, flexibility - with the expertise and understanding that comes from managing global clinical trials to the highest quality standards throughout the world.
The directors of Argint are committed to being personally involved in the oversight of the work being performed by our staff. Employees are guaranteed to receive ongoing training and guidance.
Executive Bios
Agnes Pinnel, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Argint International
Agnes obtained her Masters degree in Biology from Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany in 1995 and has over 10 years experience in clinical research. Prior to founding Argint International Agnes was based in Germany, working for a large global CRO. During this time Agnes successfully managed several large multi-national trials conducted throughout Europe. Agnes relocated to Hungary and established the regional office for Central Eastern Europe (CEE) in 2003 and under her leadership the office grew to a total of 60 people conducting clinical studies in 8 CEE countries.

Steve Dobbin, Director of Operations and Co-Founder of Argint International
Steve obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Warwick in the UK in 1989. Steve has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 16 years and has over 12 years experience in clinical research. During his career Steve has been based in the UK, US and most recently Australia. He has successfully managed many large multi-national trials conducted in more than 20 countries throughout Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
